Chatakpur Mountain Bike Day Trip
Chatakpur is, of course, a highlight region for a day cycling tour in Darjeeling. In the morning after breakfast, we can start cycling. The route goes from a levelled road called Gandhi road straight follow to Jorebunglow which is the main junction to go various roads. But to go to Chatakpur we have to follow the main road toward 3 miles. Once you reach 3 miles you have to enter into Wildlife century a gravel path which goes uphill at altitude.
The main attraction of this route is Senchal Lake of Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary and the place of the imposing hills, towering conical trees the cloud bearing sky and murmuring water flow as well as Mountain View from a small ecotourism village called Rumbi. You have lunch at Chatakphur. After having your lunch we can continue cycling toward another route via Dhap followed by Alubari road to reach Darjeeling.
The total duration of this tour starts from the morning at 8 am and the evening at 5 pm. On a total day trip, you will get the extra experience of Nature, culture, mountains and many more!
